Over the course of two days, researchers from a range of disciplines will explore the study of structures built using wood and plant-based materials, an essential field for the preservation of this historical and ethnographic heritage.

The program features the opening lecture, “Identity Carved in Wood: Vernacular Architecture in Rural Maramureş, Romania,” delivered by Noemi Ganea, Executive Director of the Financing, Tourism and Public Relations Department of Maramureş County Council.

No previous registration is required, and all inquiries can be sent via La Ponte’s email address: info@laponte.org
