Värmlandstrafik provides trafic aid for CULTURALITY #RuralEvent

During the spring of 2026, the regional public transportation company Värmlandstrafik and CULTURALITY partner Region Värmland initiated a dialogue to make the rural areas of Värmland more accessible. This collaboration integrates Värmlandstrafik’s public transportation network with the CULTURALITY team’s focus on supporting cultural heritage, creative tourism, and sustainability in remote regions.
To support future transit projects focused on cultural and creative sites, Region Värmland invited Värmlandstrafik to improve public access to the Folkfrossa rural event. Taking place from June 26 to June 28, 2026, at the Brunskog open air museum in Värmland, the initiative introduced additional bus services and a temporary bus stop near the event site. This temporary stop reduces the walking distance to the Brunskog fairground from 900 metres to a mere 100-metre walkway. Passengers who utilize public transportation to attend the event are also provided with complimentary coffee upon arrival.
